Lykke Li’s 2nd single I Follow Rivers, off her upcoming album Wounded Rhymes, is fucking amazing. The album is out February 28th, and I am very excited for it, it's definitely a new sounds from Miss Li, judging by first single Get Some, and now I Follow Rivers.

Radio One premièred the track with a remix by The Magician, and its pretty awesome too. Im going to see Lykke Li in Tripod in April and I am much more familiar with the remixes of her tracks, so to me the show will probably like an acoustic set, but I am still very excited! Little Bit of a Bargin!

Is there anything more annoying than being at a concert and being stuck behind someone with a giant SLR! Or a sea of iPhones waving from side to side, which at the end of the night probably contain shaky out of focus shots.

Anyways hopefully this won't happen Saturday April 16th, when Swedish Pop Folk (Polk???) songstress Lykke Li comes to Dublin's Tripod. And with tickets starting at just €20 are on sale now.

Kleerup is a great producer, With Every Heartbeat with Robyn was a great tune andreally relaunched her career, but hes also worked with a number of artists. Until We Bleed with Lykke Li is just stunning.


The Knife - Pass This On

The Knife gained recognition when José González covered their song Heartbeats, this was later used in the commercial for Bravia television sets with all the ping pong balls going down the hill. I adore the album Silent Shout, and the track Pass This On is just delecious and the video is bananas, you know i love a hot tranny!


Robyn - Jack You Off

I couldnt have a post about Scandanavian music and leave out the leader of the pack, Robyn! There isn't a single song on her album that I dont love, like Jack You Off, a lovely little song bout jackin' off guys at the cinema! loves it!
