"Yes Bitch, we did it!"

Lady Gaga received the Fashion Icon award at the CFDA Fashion Awards ceremony, and her outfit didn’t disappoint, at least from a visual shock value perspective. She wore a custom Mugler outfit and 24-inch heel-less platforms. The long train on the Mugler proved to be removable, because she accepted her award on stage in a bodysuit with a spiked thong.

In her acceptance speech she told the audience, “I can’t believe I’m allowed in here.” She also recounted a story about receiving a text from an “Anna” who she thought was her friend/ Nicola Formichetti‘s assistant, Anna Trevelyan. The text was telling her that she won the Fashion Icon Award. She responded by saying, “Yes, bitch, we did it!” But it wasn’t Trevelyan who texted her; it was Anna Wintour. The editrix’s reply? “That’s lovely.”

Gaga, I'm still onboard.

I heard that too!

These amazing Illustrations by Brookyn artist Lisa Hanawalt are so funny, I love them all. I suspect Anna probably won't, but I don't think she reads my blog at the weekend.

Anna talks Alexander.

Two fashion icons, one touchy subject. The Telegraph's Hillary Alexander talk to Vogue's EIC Anna Wintour about Alexander McQueen's legacy, and what shows she is looking forward to seeing at London Fashion Week.

Dude Looks Like A Lady!

Ok so who didn't love The September Issue? Its my go to boredom DVD, that I'll just have on in the background when I'm working or reading. Anyways Candy Magazine seems to have loved the film too, and its subjects Anna, and Grace. I would never have know these were all hot trannys either, well maybe the hairy arms give it away a little.

Long Live McQueen.

Anna Wintour, Daphne Guinness, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Stella McCartney and Sarah Jessica Parker at Alexander McQueen's memorial service held in St. Paul's Cathedral, London. Bjork sang Glummy Sunday. It sounds like a beautiful goodbye.

Paper Dolls

Okay. The things I would do for theses dolls. Shouldn't be spoken of. Anyways, you know you want them right?

Crafted by the obviously talented Andrew Yang, the Anna & Grace dolls are being auctioned off as part of Vogue's Fashion Nights Out. All the profits will be going towards The New York City Aids Fund.

I LOVE this deleted scene from The September Issue, its always nice to see Anna in her element, reeling in beautiful fashion. And she names a bag too...
