My invite was probably lost in the mail!

So if I was to say Anna, Andre, Marc and Naomi were all in attendance, the cake had cats on it, and the lady of the hour was flame haired fashion living creative legend, then you would hopefully guess that last weekend saw Vogue's Creative Director, Grace Coddington, celebrate her 70th birthday, yes, 70th.

So Happy Birthday Grace, here's to many many more!

Also I picked up the latest issue of Intelligent Life last week and it it such a great magazine. My iPod died and I was on my way home from Edinburgh (more on that trip later) so I decided to cure my boredom with some good old fashioned reading material. The cover story with Grace is so interesting, and gives a great insight into her fantastic career, and real details how her influence changed the way fashion magazines are styled and produced today.

Dude Looks Like A Lady!

Ok so who didn't love The September Issue? Its my go to boredom DVD, that I'll just have on in the background when I'm working or reading. Anyways Candy Magazine seems to have loved the film too, and its subjects Anna, and Grace. I would never have know these were all hot trannys either, well maybe the hairy arms give it away a little.

Brief Encounter of the Fierce Kind...

I love this editorial from American Vogue, the styling, from the one and only Grace Coddington, is spectacular as usual, and Daria Werbowy looks flawless. Makes you wanna pick up a camera and head for the hills!

Paper Dolls

Okay. The things I would do for theses dolls. Shouldn't be spoken of. Anyways, you know you want them right?

Crafted by the obviously talented Andrew Yang, the Anna & Grace dolls are being auctioned off as part of Vogue's Fashion Nights Out. All the profits will be going towards The New York City Aids Fund.

I LOVE this deleted scene from The September Issue, its always nice to see Anna in her element, reeling in beautiful fashion. And she names a bag too...

Last Saturday night me, DeeBee and our mate sam all went to see The September Issue (we told Sam it was a horror film, he wasnt impressed!) in the lovely Lighthouse cinema in Dublin. It was such a great documentary, so interesting and inspiring! If you've already seen it then you'll know that the star is passionate redhead and Vogue creative director, Grace Coddington. To put it simply I love her! The dvd of September Issue is out now and I definitely recommend it!
