Kill em with kindness...

Ok so instead of your typical rip em to shreds award show fashion posts, I was thinking I might go against the grain and only say nice things. As they say, if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all.

Hail Mary...

Mary Katrantzou is one of my favourite young designers at the moment. The first time I ever saw her work was in AnOther Magazine, when the amazing Tilda Swinton wore one of her dresses and necklaces for a shoot feature all up and coming designers. And she is definitely on the up...



Her latest S/S collect from last week's London Fashon Week seems to have been inspired by, well, her sitting room by the looks of things. The fabrics for each dress has been digitally printed, very similar to Brooke & Basso's work, with amazing art deco interiors. This theme was carried through with chandelier inspired jewellery and lamp shade skirts.

The use of colour is stunning, so vivid and vibrant. I have to say this was my favour collect of LFW...
