M.I.A vs RIHANNA
So if you haven't seen it by now Rihanna's Rude Boy video (above) is very very similar to M.I.A's 2007 video for Boyz. So everyones has being calling Rihanna's version a rip-off and now Maya has got in on the action and retweeted something one of her fans said:

I don't know if @kNAneedsREEBOK is trying to copy M.I.A's writing style or just can't spell? Anyways below is M.I.A's Boyz video. On a sidenote M.I.A linked another tweet of hers to the website for her record label N.E.E.T Recordings although if you are anyway hungover then don't click on the link. It's very M.I.A i.e Mental!

Rude Boy
Rihanna's new video for Rude Boy is a bit of a mish-mash of, well everything really. It references Keith Harring, and Rihanna is looking abit Grace Jones herself. While the visuals are totally M.I.A circa 05, with a bitta Solange throw in. Havin' said that I still dig it, plus I can't help but hope that the "is you BIG enough?" a sly dig at Chris Brown.

Grammys: Red Carpet Vs. Runway

Everything looks better on the runway, its sad but true. Having said that some people really looked amazing last night, while others, not so much.
YES - Pink, Fergie (she looked so much better than the skick thing runway model), Gaga (although I dont thnk theres anyneed for the props), and that girl Glee looked well.
NO - Ciara, Rihanna, Katy Perry (Not lovin that Betty Paige fringe on her)

Who Wore It Better?

Did anyone watch the Hope For Haiti telethon last night on MTV? I was very impressive and it raised 300 million dollars for Haiti so it turned out great! One on the best moments of the night was Christina Aguilera, she was flawless, i'll post that later.
One of the most awkward moments of the was Bono being a total knob and embarrassing every Irish person alive. Why cant he just be cool like Edge??? And Rihanna looked a mess, seriously I love her new tough girl look an all (well kinda) but shes was looking more rough than tough. Check out the song Stranded, and the awkward video, below.
Text CONCERN or UNICEF to 57500 and donate just €5 to Haiti.

Rated R

So Rihanna finally has a new album out, I was really excited about hearing her new stuff until I heard the first single, Russian Roulette, a total whiny ballad which I'm not feeling at all. Having said that im still optimistic that the album will have a few trademark Rihanna bangers so fingers crossed. The artwork was shot by the excellent Ellen Von Unwerth...
