Alice In Shape...

How great is this? I would be a lot more motivated to visit my gym if they had climbing walls like these...

Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, its an interesting collaboration between art, design and exercise, 3 areas which are not usually brought together, at least not in such an effective way like this.

The climbing wall was designed and developed by the renowned design studio Nendo Japanese architecture and equipped for one of the rooms in Tokyo fitness club Omotesando ILLOIHA.

New Living Art II

At the weekend I was lucky enough to see The Irish Museum of Contemporary Art's New Living Art Exhibition held at Moxie Studios (Lad's Lane, off Baggot St.) The Show run until the 30th of October, and opens daily, 12-5pm.


My amazingly talented friend, Ciara Killalea, had two fabulous prints in the exhibition. They are part of her Inhabiting Space series. Ciara is one of those fabulous photographers that is able to capture a story, every time she clicks her camera, a true talent. And not to be bias, but she had the best work of the exhibition...

I highly recommend the exhibition, it has a rich and diverse collection of instillations, photography, moving imagery and some taxidermy. What more could you want from an exhibition?

Have a "Romy and Michele" day!

The stars of Romy & Michele's High School Reunion, Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino, are back together for a Post-It inspired fashion shoot, for Entertainment Weekly. Its hard to believe that R&MHSR is 14 years old. I Love this movie so much. And it has given me so much valuable advice, such as this jem: "can you excuse me, I cut my foot earlier and my shoe is filling up with blood!"
