Happy Halloween

Yesterday myself & my good friend Shona got in the Halloween spirit with a little bit of pumpkin carving. I was happy with the results.

Not so scary after all?

With Halloween fast approaching (Dunnes stores is already resembling a haunted house) how perfect are these iconic horror villains for the occasion?

Happy Halloween

Okay before you ask, lets be clear I was NOT Florence, Gaga, Katy, a Uterus, Aquarius, a Lady Alien or a Stag! I was actually Princess Beatrice, in my home made Philip Tracey Couture headwear...

On Friday I was up in Mayo with mates Pa, Pat and Fergal, where my mate Emer has a great Halloween party. Then on Sunday I made my way up to Galway, to see Dylan Moran, as part of the Galway Comedy Festival. His show was funny, but equally random and frantic, half the time I literally had no idea what he was talking about. Still, we all had a laugh, no I won't complain.

Hope everyone had a good Halloween.

Little Print Shop of Horrors

Yes, there has been a lot, and I mean A LOT, of minimalist movie posters hovering around the design blog scene this past year (Blame Olly Moss) but these Halloween inspired prints are particularly sweet.

Agency Creative Spark have produces six prints on their favourite scary films. The prints cost £10 each, with all profits raised going to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

You can buy the prints HERE

What are you meant to be?

Man I can't believe it was Halloween only last week, the week's really are flying by, I'll be in the Christmas panic soon enough...

So of all the costumes I've seen, this guy who went as a Banksy piece is pretty genius! All it took was some clever shading and a wall to stand next too all night...

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween everybody! I ventured out in the "Town" last night and it turned out to be a great night! Lots of great costumes last night, and also lots of girls dressed as sluts. I was a sailor, the Gaultier sailor! There was lots of Seaman jokes all night!

And then up in Galway there was lots of shananigans when Lord and Lady Fontleoon were let lose on the City of Tribes!

Cat's got my tongue!

Yay! Halloween is this weekend! are you dressing up? Its kinda sad that children dont go Trick-or-treating as much as when we were younger. You'd get a black bag thrown over you and a plastic mask, leave home at 7 and be out all night! They were the days!
