This aint Paul Costello....

J.W Anderson describes his design aesthetic as; “Things that can be borrowed from a man to a woman and from a woman to a man.”

In his S/S12 collection, you can very much see what he meant by this statement, his clothes are a mix of fragility, yet look strong and domineering. Not only is he a rising Irish talent, but he has the skill to become a global talent.

New School. New Rules.

New Direction is a very exciting editorial from the latest issue of V Magazine, featuring the designs of up and coming designers, it proves that the pages of a high fashion magazine does not need to be filled with Chanel and Gucci gowns to be interesting.

Featured are some of my favourite British designers, Mary Katrantzou, Holly Fulton, David Koma, and one very talented Irish lad, J.W Anderson. Nice to see them getting a little international press...
