What is that? (Τι είναι αυτό;) 2007 from
Ok so as most of our followers know this blog is mostly about shiny things and pretty boys, but D&C like the odd bit of Kuhlcha, I mean Culture! The above film, What Is That?, directed by Constantin Pilavios is just the most perfectly heartbreaking 5 and a half minutes of beauty ive seen in a long time...
It really reminded me of another similar story, Sarah Polley's wonderful Away From Her, based on the short story The Bear Came Over The Mountain by Alice Munro. The short story itself is an equally moving piece, which you can read at the New Yorker Website...
