to market, to market.
I've never been to the Dublin Flea market but I have just decided that I am going to the next one! Does anyone know when that is? I should ask my mate Edel Flynn, seeing as she designs the posters I'm pretty sure she'll know when its on.

She sells sea shells by the sea shore!
Living in Co. Clare is not ideal. Well, when you're 22 at least. But what Clare lacks in arts, festivals, ideas, it more than makes up for all that with stunning scenery, like our coast line.
Yesterday was such a beautiful day, I decided to take my parents up the coast to White Strand, a really gorgeous beach, with miles of coast line to walk along. Afterwards we went to our mobile home (yes, its very knacker chic) for tea and biscuits. As you can imagine it was the perfect day.

21 goes Number One!
As expected Adele's 21 will top both the Irish & UK charts, with her sophomore record currently outselling the UK Top 10 combined, and her debut, 19, is expected to end up somewhere inside the top 5. Such a great achieve for a talented woman. If you havn't heard the new record yet, Adele will give you a step by step guide to the album in the video below.

Now He's Having A Moment!
I've started a new Men's Fashion Blog, HE'S HAVING A MOMENT, WHAM'S trouble making younger brother.
I started the site because I felt there really aren't any Irish male fashion bloggers out there, apart from Cillian who does an amazing job at Male-Mode.
We're going to have editorials, follow what's happening on the runway, what the lads are wearing on the red carpet, and just generally have some fun.
Please get in touch if you are a designer, a fellow blogger, a stylist, a photographer, a make up artist, or just a fashionable fella... I would be more than happy to feature new Irish and International talent...
So enjoy H.H.A.M as it shall be known for short, hopefully we'll be able to inspire a few lads out there to stop wearing beer related slogan t-shirts and into some decent clothes.

Being Human. And American.
The American networks must have been in development hell last year seeing as all their new shows seem to be British remakes. Skins, Shameless and now Being Human have all been given a yanky accent and will probably be bastardised beyond recognition. Though I must admit I would happily watch the US Being Human, if only for BSG's LT. Crashdown (Sam Witwer)

Love Muck...
I was sent this video from Blink PR, I'm only posting cause they pretented to give my girl Jules a job there for Fade Street. And its for Charity too I suppose.

Ice, Ice, Lady.
I have always been a huge fan of the X-Men series, from the animated cartoon on a Saturday morning to the film trilogy (Obviously this doesn't include X3, God Brett Rattner really is a terrible director) So anyways you can imagine my excitement when I found out the the series would continue, and even better as prequel. And even better again it is set in the 60's. AND Michael Fassbender is in it. AND Matthew Vaughan (Kiss-Ass) is in the director's chair. A man who knows what he's doing.
And don't let the quality of the above picture concern you, it was confirmed that this image was leaked and far from finished according to MTV news. But what are official are the promo pictures released today, where we get a first look at the actors in there character.
I am very much loving January Jones as Emma Frost, seeing as the film is set in the sixties, I can only hope for a bitta Nancy Sinatra "These boots" action.
X-Men: First Class opens June 3rd, 2011.

I've nevah been in a Cah....
I've been listening to so much Adele lately, on repeat, I'll just put on 19 and listen to it over and over. So I'm sure my speakers will be glad to know that Adele's new album is out on the 21st of this month, and I already have it pre-ordered on iTunes.
In the mean time you can enjoy this clip of Adele singing her heart out...

Just call me Endama
I can only imagine that some fed up, pissed off, and unpaid intern is responsible for this. "Yeah, this will totally get the kids to think your hip. What, oh yeah, everyone still says hip, you should use it in your next speech. Have a nice weekend."
It is terrible. And I'm not just saying that as a designer. I'm saying that as a 22 year old with a little common sense. And taste and opinion for that matter.
Shepard Fairey's Obama posters were so well received because of their style, and what the represented. The traditional screen printed poster, in bold and patriotic American colours, was something that young people wanted to hang on their walls, put up in the office. Plus lets face it, Obama is black, which automatically makes you 20% cooler than some old white guy.
There is a lot of things that photoshop can do, but giving a politician credibility, I'm afraid Enda, is not one of them.

Kill em with kindness...
Ok so instead of your typical rip em to shreds award show fashion posts, I was thinking I might go against the grain and only say nice things. As they say, if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all.
Lets begin.
I really like this look too, the beading or sequins is lovely...
Vera why would you put that seem there? right down the middle? ammm Her weave is fierce!
Michelle. Business in the front, party in the back eh? Cute hair tho...
Lets begin.
Its an interesting dress, I like it.
OH Emily, you make this game too easy, I love this look. Who else could make a bow look edgy and cool. Possibly best dressed.
I like the top detailing.
Oh Helena, come on! Give me something to work with. I like the Lulu Guinness lips purse.

Vera why would you put that seem there? right down the middle? ammm Her weave is fierce!
Its a nice (and safe) colour.
its age appropriate and she looks happy.

Fierce! Love Mila. Love the shoes. Love the look.
Sofia is working that dress.
Its not a secret that you're knocked up anymore Natalie, show off that belly. Its a stylish number, I'll give her that.
This is impossible!!! she looks...comfortable?
Eva! Don't look now but there is a giant chip on your shoulder. Oh wait, thats part of your dress. The shoes are nice...
TILDA! Yay! Love it all, look how strong she looks.
Well that wasn't so bad. Up next, the Golden Globes. And the claws are coming out for that post.
